"We have been extremely privileged at Galerie Birch since 1946. We have been representing many of the leading Danish and foreign artists and sold thousands of art pieces.
Since my father, Børge Birch, started 70 years ago, it has been about making great art accessable and popular. However, many of the artists we represent are so valuable and expensive today, that only few can actually afford them.
At the same time, we see the technical development is giving us new opportunities. That's why we decided to launch an addition to Galerie Birch: 'Birch Copenhagen', an online gallery representing quality art from known artists but at affordable prices.", Anette Birch explains .
We are doing that online through a special webshop, and with fast and free delivery.

Asger Jorns and Nes Lerpas Italian friend, master of ceramic, Giovanni Poggi, has granted the town of Silkeborg four giant works of art.
It is 60 years ago since Giovanni at the studio in San Giorgio in Albissola helped Asger Jorn with the creation of Jorn's huge relief at Aarhus Statsgymnasium.
Given that occation, Giovanni asked four of the best artists he works with today, to create four huge ceramic pieces and contributed them to Asger Jorn's Silkeborg Art Museum. Among the artists are Birch Copenhagen's Nes Lerpas, whos contribution to the generous gift of art from Giovanni Poggi measures two by three meters.
The artgift was revealed in Silkeborg on the 4th October at an innagual party at Jysk Musikteater.
